Installation Steps
- Ensure tubing is cut squarely with a proper tube cutter and deburred on both inside and outside edges
- Mark insertion depth on tubing (typically 1 inch for large diameter fittings) to verify full seating
- Push tubing firmly into the AquaLock end stop until it bottoms out against the internal tube stop
- Tug on the tubing to confirm the stainless steel grip ring has engaged and the connection is secure
- Pressurize the system slowly and inspect for leaks before putting into full service

For polypropylene tubing, match the outside diameter (OD) to the copper tube size (CTS) equivalent: 3/8" OD to 1/4" CTS, 1/2" OD to 3/8" CTS, 5/8" OD to 1/2" CTS, 7/8" OD to 3/4" CTS, and 1-1/8" OD to 1" CTS. The large diameter end stop is designed for 3/4" CTS and larger applications. AquaLock fittings can also connect to NPT threaded pipe: 1/4" NPT (0.540" OD), 3/8" NPT (0.675" OD), 1/2" NPT (0.840" OD), 3/4" NPT (1.050" OD), 1" NPT (1.315" OD), and larger sizes up to 2" NPT. Always verify your specific tubing outer diameter before selecting the appropriate AquaLock fitting size.
