Replacement Procedure
- Disconnect power to the UV system and shut off water supply to prevent flow during service
- Remove the UV chamber from the system housing and carefully extract the lamp assembly from the old quartz sleeve
- Clean the new QS-001 quartz sleeve with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth, handling only with clean gloves to prevent skin oils from depositing on the surface
- Slide the new sleeve over the UV lamp, reinstall into the chamber with proper o-ring lubrication, and reconnect power once reassembly is complete
