The Omnipure K2385-JJ is a 6" x 2" all-phosphate inline filter engineered to prevent scale and lime buildup in refrigerators, ice machines, and reverse osmosis systems. With 1/4" quick connect fittings and a 750-gallon capacity, this K-Series filter installs in seconds and protects equipment from hard water damage.

How to Install the K2385-JJ Inline Filter

  1. Shut off water supply and depressurize the line before installation
  2. Note the flow direction arrow on the filter body and align it with water flow direction
  3. Push 1/4" tubing firmly into each quick connect fitting until it seats completely
  4. Restore water pressure slowly and check both fittings for leaks
  5. Replace filter every 6 months or 750 gallons, whichever comes first
COMPATIBILITY

Applications for the Omnipure K2385-JJ

This all-phosphate inline filter is compatible with residential and commercial applications including under-counter reverse osmosis systems, refrigerator water lines, ice makers, coffee and espresso machines, and any water equipment requiring scale and corrosion protection. The 1/4" quick connect fittings work with standard FQC tubing used in most modern water filtration systems. Note that polyphosphate does not remove hardness minerals but sequesters them to prevent scaling on heating elements and internal components.

🔧 Pro tip: Quick connect fittings use a collet and o-ring system—if you need to remove the tubing, push the collet ring toward the filter body while pulling the tube. Never twist or force it, or you'll damage the seal.
