This IPW Industries pleated sediment cartridge fits any whole-house or point-of-entry filter housing that accepts 10-inch by 4.5-inch cartridges, including Watts, Pentek, Culligan, and generic big blue housings. It serves as an effective pre-filter for reverse osmosis systems or as a standalone sediment filter for municipal or well water applications. The 20-micron rating removes sand, silt, dirt, and particulate matter while maintaining high flow rates for whole-house use. The pleated polyester design offers significantly more surface area and longer service life compared to standard spun or wound polypropylene cartridges at the same micron rating.
