Installing Your DI Cartridge
- Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure before opening your 10-inch filter housing
- Remove old cartridge and rinse housing sump thoroughly to remove any sediment or resin fines
- Insert the Aries AF-10-4020-P cartridge into the housing, ensuring the cartridge seats properly against the center post
- Reassemble housing, tighten hand-tight, then slowly turn water supply back on and check for leaks
- Flush the new DI cartridge for 2-3 minutes and monitor output TDS with a conductivity meter to confirm performance

The Aries AF-10-4020-P fits all standard 10-inch filter housings with 3-inch inner diameters, including models from Pentek, Culligan, Hydronix, and other major brands. This mixed bed DI filter is designed for post-RO polishing or standalone use with pre-filtered water. Do not use as a primary sediment or carbon filter. Input water should be pre-treated with sediment and carbon filtration, and ideally below 50 ppm TDS, to maximize resin life and efficiency. Not recommended for direct municipal water without upstream filtration.
